Raymond Crosby
President & Chief Executive Officer
A passionate leader, Julia has spent the past 20 years guiding integrated marketing teams to develop and execute national communications campaigns that inspire action and help make the world a better place. She partners with government and nonprofit clients on a range of topics including public health, agriculture, and environmental safety. Her forte is shaping innovative, multifaceted engagements that effectively communicate complex, compelling messages.
At Crosby, Julia is a senior strategist supporting the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force on behalf of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. As deputy project director, she oversees strategic messaging, public engagement, and issues management, while serving as the lead media and message trainer. Julia helps clients tackle their toughest challenges and guides executive-level leaders in telling their stories well, leading work for organizations, such as Peace Corps, USDA, and American Board of Internal Medicine.
Prior to joining Crosby, Julia led teams at Edelman to create awareness campaigns, outreach programs, and digital destinations for CMS, SAMHSA, and Department of Energy.
Julia operates at the nexus of communications and public affairs, having served as Communications Director in multiple roles across both sides of the Hill. She received her BSC in Political Communication and minors in Political Science and Mathematics from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
When she isn’t working, Julia’s probably off on an adventure with her husband, young kids, and aging pug. Otherwise, you should look for her on the flying trapeze, running around a tennis court, or curled up with a good book.
