Lee Gatchel

EVP, Experience Design

Lee guides our team to push creative and technological boundaries, while ensuring the digital experiences we build are intuitive, engaging, and always meet our clients’ marketing objectives.

Lee oversees the entire user experience lifecycle, from research and ideation through design, development, testing, and implementation. He has led the creation of award-winning websites, mobile apps, and interactive campaigns for leading federal agencies and nonprofits, including Department of Defense, Department of Health and Human Services, Peace Corps, Social Security Administration, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), USAA Educational Foundation, and Shriners Children’s.

Lee began his career on Madison Avenue, and throughout his 25+-year career, he’s created online campaigns and websites for major brands such as General Motors, UPS, Gillette, Logitech, Lipton, and Quicken Loans.

His work is regularly recognized by the industry, earning honors ranging from Best of Show awards at regional ADDY competitions to national recognition at ad:Tech and the Webby Awards. He holds a BA in History from Connecticut College and studied Art and Design at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design.

Outside of work, Lee is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cities around the world with his wife and two sons.
